Züripets® Daycare means 12 hours of professional care from 07:00-19:00, naturally supervised at all times by our experienced team. Individual times are possible by arrangement.
We offer your dog a safe, varied and species-appropriate environment in the middle of Zurich on over 2,000 m² of exclusive, fenced-in dog meadow and in the adjacent 16-hectare local recreation area. Several times a day, we take your dog on extended runs - adapted to his age and condition - in small groups through forests, across large meadows and along rivers and streams. And in all weathers.
Fun, variety, socialization and relaxation are integral parts of our care. Thanks to our very high care ratio, each dog receives the individual attention it deserves - for care with heart, quality and safety. This means that all guests return home mentally and physically exhausted, satisfied and relaxed.
We do not keep pets in boxes or require them to be kept on a lead within the boarding kennel. Instead, we offer closeness, security and care in a family living room style - individually, professionally and with a lot of heart.
Exclusive Züripets® app: For all daycare guests, we reliably document whether your dog has eaten, played, cuddled, done its business and felt comfortable. Everything is recorded in a structured way and sent directly to your cell phone or by email - including updates, photos and an optional video call. So you're always in the picture, even if you're not on site.

With the entry into force of the new cantonal dog legislation on June 1, 2025 from the Zurich Veterinary Office all dog owners in the canton of Zurich are obliged to complete theoretical and practical dog training if they keep a dog for at least three months. The training may only be carried out by dog trainers who have an official license from the Veterinary Office.
Züripets® is your competent partner for this duty - professional, familiar and recognized by the Zurich Veterinary Office.
Theoretical training course
The theory course teaches all the basics of responsible dog ownership:
Legal requirements & obligations of dog owners
Needs, social behavior & learning style of the dog
Tools for keeping and training dogs
Time and financial expenditure
The course lasts approx. 2 hours, is completed with an examination and is registered in the AMICUS dog database .
Practical training course
Practical dog training promotes the relationship between dog and owner and teaches safe handling in everyday life:

Understanding the dog's body language
Basics of education and everyday obedience
Animal-friendly & safe handling in every situation
Methods for muzzle familiarization
The practice begins from the 6th month of the dog's life, comprises at least 6 lessons and must be completed within 12 months of starting to keep the dog. Successful completion is documented by a learning success check and also entered in AMICUS.

Exempt from theoretical or practical training are e.g:
Persons who have kept a dog for ≥ 6 months in the last 10 years
Owners who adopt a dog from a marriage/life partnership
Dog owners of guide or assistance dogs for the blind
Owners of army, police or livestock guarding dogs
Dogs over 10 years old when moving in

In advance, we discuss together the nature of the dog, its peculiarities and characteristics. In order to exclude food intolerances, we recommend the dog owners to provide us with the individual food of their four-legged friends.
Our service at no extra charge: Of course, we are trained and familiar in dealing with individual peculiarities such as allergies, in administering medications including subcutaneous injections, etc.. We conscientiously plan these tasks into the care.

The conditions of admission are for the protection of your pet and for the protection of our guests. If any of these points are not met, a dog may be rejected as our guest. This applies to both males and females.

For reasons of animal welfare, Züripets® deliberately does not offer a collective collection or delivery service. Long travel times, repeated boarding and alighting and several stops mean unnecessary stress for many animals.
