Ingredients (for approx. 1 liter of soup):
500 g organic carrots
1 liter of water
1 teaspoon of salt (for electrolyte balance) - Optional
1 teaspoon of psyllium husks (natural fiber for gentle digestive regulation)
Preparation:
Carrots with peel, cut into small pieces and cook gently for at least 90-120 minutes.
Then puree finely and fill up again with boiled water to approx. 1 liter.
As soon as the soup is lukewarm, mix in the psyllium husks.
Serving tip:
The soup should be served warm. It can be fed on its own or combined with some cooked chicken, rice or mashed potato - ideal as a light diet for dogs after gastrointestinal problems.
