Medications may be administered only by authorized, trained professionals
Our medicine cabinet is locked and monitored, just like in a hospital.
All animal feed, dietary supplements, and special diets are kept separate, clearly labeled, and securely sealed.
All cleaning and disinfecting agents are safe for animals, have been selected appropriately, and are stored separately in sealed containers.
The entire facility is under video surveillance to ensure maximum security.
All entrances to the dog boarding facility are locked at all times and accessible only to authorized staff or authorized individuals.
All employees who come into contact with animals have a clean criminal record and are state-certified animal keepers, certified animal caretakers, or trained veterinarians with verifiable professional qualifications and experience.
More Support, Less Risk
Another key factor in safety and well-being is our exceptionally low staff-to-dog ratio.
While in many facilities, individual caregivers walk ten or more dogs at a time, our professionals accompany a maximum of two to five dogs at a time.
This allows us to maintain full control at all times, ensure a safe group structure, and respond to each animal’s individual needs—for peaceful walks, relaxed dogs, and maximum safety.
Security Through Control and Transparency
Thanks to our internal security policies and control mechanisms, we ensure 100 percent security within the facility. At the same time, our robust external security measures prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to the premises or the animals—all entry points are strictly secured and continuously monitored.
Züripets® holds two official operating permits from the Zurich Veterinary Office —clear evidence that our facilities are regularly inspected and assessed in accordance with applicable Swiss animal welfare laws.
